globe theatre visit

hiii...

actually.. the next day after i went to Thorpe Park, i went to the Globe Theater in London.

it was a visit under my university..

I HAVE TO!!!
huuu..

if not, i would have stayed longer in Surrey..

nothing much about this place...
its a theater which do Shakespeare play..

im not interested in Shakespeare..
so, i dont bother to know much about it..

Shakespeare gives nightmare to my life!!
grrrrr...

i just had an exam which dealt with his play..
and it was a disaster!!

it was really frustrating because the one that appears in the exam was just few clicks from the webpage that i was studying...

huuu...

in the middle of tons of workss..
i escaped to have some fun!!
well..
A LOT OF FUN!!

hehee..

escaped to Guildford, Surrey!!!

since it is my study week.. yeah right- Study??

leaving canterbury in the morning, arrived Guildford when it was raining,
took a bus n met my friend, a good 1! :)

then, from uni (i joined University if Surrey 's trip actually) we left to..
THORPE PARK!!!
we were there from 1pm till 10pm!!!
it was Fright Nights at Thorpe Park
(for Halloween)

..at the entrance (cold+light rain)..


we split up into 2 groups

1: extreme rides group
2: kiddos rides group (me one of them!!!) lol

i was so fine at my last amusement park that i went (Disneyland, Paris)
but my bravery was taken back by Allah i guess
huhhuu
cuz i don't dare anymore to ride any extreme ones..
it was such a shame!
but the other 2 girls were on my side..
haha

however...

the kiddos group ended up riding the extreme ones and enjoyed them amazingly!!

the Colossus was our first extreme ride..
we lined up for almost 2 hours for it! huu..
such a looooong Q..

but it worth the wait!!
not a single sound came out from me during the ride! haha..
i was prepared..
ehem2..
hahaha..

im not scared..
just that i dont want to scream..
but i love it so much!
no fear bebeh!!

...the Colossus -it was such a long roller coaster, but thrilling!!.

i thought that was the first and the last..
but..

..

we went on the Saw ride which was extremely super deep and scary!!!
but it was soooooo exciting though!!!

..Saw ride- can u see how scary it was???..

anyhow, i really enjoy the Thorpe Park trip..
next destination would be the Elton Tower!!
bring it on!!!!
weee~~

stayed a night at my lovely friend's room..
and i cooked yorkshire pudding and chicken curry as requested..

the good news is from my university!!!

i have been selected as.....

CCCU Student Ambassador!!!!!!

well..
out of a lot of application,
50 people were selected for the interview..

and out of 50 people, only 20 was selected for the role!!

i was one of them~

introducing about the person next to,
and a short presentation on your in from of other answering a situation that was given...

everybody did really well!

and made me think that im not compatible with them

of course they will have bigger chance for the role instead of me
(maybe no chance for me at ALL!!)

but it turns out that I got the chance!!!

i was sooo grateful!!

hope my third will be more valuable with me taking up this role..

22 candles..

che Nefy!!!

hehe.. this sweet girl's birthday was in July..

but yesterday was our friend's birthday..
what we did we do??

the 22 candles was actually used by our 'gang'

and she's the last 22

since her birthday was when all of us not around, we didnt have the opportunity to celebrate

i'm back in the UK after a short summer break in Malaysia

Alhamdulillah..
i passed my year 2 so now proudly in year 3
which means,,
final year in the UK!!!!!!1

when i came to think about it,,

will be extremely sad to leave when the time comes..

so, being a final year student
(final in the UK only cause another year in Malaysia)

Welcome back.. =)

Haha..

After so long, as usual, i’m back..

My update is about my previous SKIING trip!

Now the class has started, so that brings the delay to update my stories..

*padahal sendiri yg pemalas =P *

The story is, ALHAMDULILLAH.. everything went well..

Back to Canterbury in one piece.. hehe

Okey, about skiing, it was super duper GREAT!!!!

New sport that is totally worth to try!!

As a loser~~ i feel better to be able to ski!

Haha..

5 of us went there..

We depart from London to Geneva on 5th January 2011..

Well, Geneva is in Switzerland..

It is located near the border between France and Switzerland..

So, from Geneva airport, we took an airport transfer straight to our hotel in France..

To be specific, Les Houces, in Chamonix Velley at Mont Blanc..

Have you ever heard of that name??

I think Mont Blanc is very famous mountain..

If I’m not mistaken, it is the highest mountain in the Alps, Western Europe and the European Union.

So, i’m proud to be there.. ngeee~ (^_^)

The hotel was great and superb view! The mountain of course..

I woke up in the morning with grateful..

I opened my eyes, parallel to them, is the mountain view through the window.. SUBHANALLAH.. =)

..crystal snow, amazing!..

So, in France, the Les Houches, we have 2-day ski pass in any places in Les Houches.

The first day was in La Prarion..
We had a 2 hour ski lesson.. it was fun!! And of course i gained good techniques to ski well..
*however with uncountable falling down here and there*
Oh yeah, the ski stuffs are extremely heavy!!!!!!!!!

OMG.. the ski boots were very hard and you can get the feeling of being a ROBOCOP!!
It was quite hard to walk with the boots..And the ski itself is heavy and when wearing it, quite hard to control due to its length..

Okey, back to the story..
La Prarion took around 15 minutes on gondola to be reached..
and i love to be in the gondola! Hehe
The ski slopes in La Prarion are varied..
They are for different level and they were quite scary~~ huhuu

..its 1853 m~~..

The second day of skiing, we went to different stop which is the Bellevue..
It was not as great as La Prarion..
Because there were no private/ continuous gondola that goes up to the top..
And there was only one type of slope..

However, i learn to ski better there!
Enjoy my moment over there.. hehe.. *like a pro! (for a 1-day experience skier la..) =P*
But there was unforgettable moment when the crash happened.. huhuu..
I’m glad i’m still alive.. hahaha.. =P *evidence is in the vid, enjoy!*

Okey, it has been too long! Enough about skiing.. food?
In order to save our money, we have our own food!
Such as MAGGI JAMBAN (use hot water from toilet, no kettle) and bread..
So, i just spend 20 Euros only for the trip.. YEAY!
At the end, we took an airport transfer from our hotel straight to Geneva airport and depart to London..
Fuhh... HOME SWEET HOME!!!

All in all, it was a budget trip yet fun and enjoyable and worth it!!
Just one thing that i regret.. i did not include visiting Geneva..
It was such a regret for me.. already in Geneva but did not pay a visit.. huhu..
Its ok.. maybe next time..
All in all, ENJOY!!!!!!!
